Term Four
Hats
Hopefully the sun will shine next term…..we have a school rule that Hats are to be wore in Terms 1 and 4 to keep us all Sun Safe. Every child will be expected to have a hat to wear at breaks and sports from day one next term. We DO NOT accept caps, but any hat that covers the ears neck and nose is acceptable, the ‘bucket ‘hat is most popular.
Swimming Pool
Fiona Bryan has offered to look after our pool again this summer, but she is looking for other volunteers to help her. If you are able and willing please contact Fiona directly or leave your name and number at the office.
Teacher Only Day
On Friday 24 October the school will be closed for a TEACHER ONLY DAY. This day was given by the Minister of Education on the Launch of the New Curriculum so staff could have the opportunity to become more familiar with the document and how it may impact on teaching and learning in the school setting. We have attached the day to Labour weekend in the hope that it will give some families the opportunity to have a short holiday together.
