We seem to have two main causes for student absence

1. the usual cold
2. a vomiting ‘bug’

We have been advised that the most common strain of influenza this winter is expected to be a H1N1 or Swine Flu strain.

Dr Ed Kiddle advises” Students unwell with influenza like illness with symptoms of cough, sore throat, fever, muscle aches should stay at home until well”

He also reminds us to cover coughs and sneezes and wash hands with soap and water and dry well.
