Last night the Board met for their first meeting of this term. At the meeting I shared our achievement data in Reading, Writing and Mathematics based on the assessment teachers provided you in your child’s report at the end of last term. Our achievement across the school continues to track very positively against the National Standards nationally. We are excited by the progress that our students are making and constantly want to celebrate each milestone, no matter how big or small.
I also shared data related to three of our Learning Lights Active, Creative and Thinker. Thinker is an area of focus for us as a school this year as we reinvigorate our Learning Process of Get it, Sort it, Use it, Explore Further and develop the Learning Pit concept. The data also shows this as an area of need.
