SUMS Supporters of Upper Moutere School.

SUMS is a group of parents, caregivers and community members enthusiastic about our wonderful school and local community.

We welcome new members from within the school or wider community!  Please contact the school office if you would like to join us ([email protected]).

What we do

  • Encourage connections between the school, whanau and community.
  • Welcome new whanau to our school community
  • Hold regular events and activities to fundraise and build relationships
  • Organise working bees and assist the school by taking on small non-teaching tasks

Fundraising

Part of  SUMS role is to help the school bridge funding shortfall and to purchase specific items or fund one-off activities.  We do this through fundraising events, grants and donations.  If you would like to support us financially our details are:
